Deepika Padukone‘s next Bollywood venture is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum-opus ‘Padmavati’. In this film, Deepika would be essaying the role of queen Padmavati who committed jauhar by jumping into fire. Being a period drama film based on one of the most heroic instances that took place in the history of India, a good amount of preparation has gone behind the making. Not just that, apparently, Rajasthan’s fascinating history has caught Deepika Padukone’s fancy and Bollywood actress is now reading a book revealing the glorious history of Rajasthan.
