The actor, who is known to avoid award functions, unless he has the immense respect in his heart for it, took time from his hectic schedule on Tuesday evening, to attend the Hridaynath Awards 2016 held in Mumbai. These awards were kept in the celebration of the 25th Year of Hridayesh Arts to honour the accomplished personalities across various streams. This ceremony looked upon Grand Chessmaster Viswanathan Anand winning this honour.
