When asked as to whom did she first call up after being announced as the winner, she said, "I called our Miss India team first after winning the crown."

Manushi spoke about completing her medical studies by saying, "I took a break but I will complete my studies."

On making a splash in Bollywood, the actress said, "Bollywood is not on my mind as of now." She further spoke about her favorites by saying, "I can't choose one actor and actress, but I want to work with Aamir Khan because his movies have a message. And in actresses, I personally like Priyanka Chopra."

She stated that she would like to contribute to 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' campaign.

"Sanitary pads should be available at low cost", said Manushi on GST being levied on sanitary pads.

After 17 long years, India finally emerged victorious at the coveted Miss World pageant thanks to the efforts of Manushi Chhillar who brought glory to our country by winning the crown. Ever since her victory, the girl has been unstoppable as she is on a spree of meetings. This afternoon, the gorgeous woman spoke to her heart’s content at a press conference.
