Senior actress Shabana Azmi, who celebrates her birthday today received a special surprise on the sets of her television show ‘Amma’. The actress, who is currently a part of the Zee TV show, didn’t expect for a birthday surprise from the cast and crew members of the serial. The crew members arranged for a pre-birthday cake for Azmi and she was extremely pleased with the sweet gesture. The actress said, “Wishes are the greatest strength for an artist.I loved my birthday surprise. I will wish for a good health and want to work a lot.”

Her co-actor in the serial Ashmit Patel too expressed his happiness and said that since she was to leave for Kolkata, they decided to celebrate her birthday a day before.
