You won’t believe Ajay Devgn rejected these super-hit movies

Ajay Devgn who has won hearts with his character as 'Bajirao Singham' in Rohit Shetty’s 'Singham Returns' also turned down Sanjay Leela Bhansali's latest release 'Bajirao Mastani'. He was offered to play the lead role in the movie but the makers couldn't agree on the terms and conditions which were dates and money.

Yash Chopra had originally offered the role of Rahul Mehra to Ajay Devgan. However, Ajay declined because he was busy with other projects and the role was finally played by Shah Rukh Khan which earned him a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Villain.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

Karan Johar's love traingle romantic film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is one of the most popular films of all time. Ajay Devgn was first offered the role of Aman Mehra (Anjali's fiance) but he rejected the offer and thus prompting Karan Johar to rope in Salman Khan.

Ajay Devgn was the first choice to play Shah Rukh Khan's brother Karan in the film, but he walked out of the project since he had differences with the film's director Rakesh Roshan. The role was finally played by Salman Khan and the film was the second biggest hit of 1995 after DDLJ.
