As soon as he shared the pictures, Reddit commenters questioned whether Samantha and Chaitanya were raising Hush. A number of internet users shared screenshots of Samantha and Chay with their pet puppy in their postings. People were led to believe that despite their separation, the couple decided to co-parent their pet dog. One of the user wrote,“Although Samantha has 3 pets, 2 dogs and a cat, Hash (dog) was adopted when they both were together. So, I have seen Hash with Chaitanya multiple times post their divorce.”

However, the two announced their separation in October 2021, i.e. after four years of their marriage. Back then, they had issued a statement asking fans and followers for privacy as they ‘move on’.

Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya tied the knot in a private, traditional Telugu wedding ceremony with Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4, 2024, at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, following a two-year courtship.
