Naga Chaitanya, Sobhita Dhulipala’s Love Story Began Over An Instagram Post; Actor Reveals, “I Posted About Shoyu And She Replied”

Naga Chaitanya Recalls Sobhita Dhulipala NOT Talking To Him

In a recent interview with Jagapathi Babu on Jayammu Nishchayammuraa on Zee5, Naga Chaitanya revealed how a misunderstanding caused a rift with Sobhita Dhulipala, leading her to not speak to him for a week. Chaitanya, who recently starred in Thandel, his first Rs 100 crore film alongside Sai Pallavi, featuring the song ‘Bujji Thalli,’ shared that ‘Bujji Thalli’ is also his nickname for Sobhita. However, Sobhita was upset because she thought Naga Chaitanya was the one who suggested the name for the film.

He explained, “She was so angry that she didn’t speak to me for a few days. She thought I asked the director (Chandoo Mondeti) to include the phrase in the film, but why would I do that?” For those unfamiliar, Bujji Thalli means a loved one. Later, Naga Chaitanya added, “Any relationship isn’t real if there are no fights.”

“We met on Instagram. I never imagined I would meet my partner there. I was familiar with her work. One day, when I posted about Shoyu (his cloud kitchen), she commented with an emoji. I began chatting with her, and soon after, we met,” Chaitanya said, smiling.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got married in December 2024 in Hyderabad.
