Ram Charan and Upasana, already parents to their daughter Klin Kaara (born June 20, 2023), revealed that each name carries deep personal and spiritual meaning, reflecting their values and family legacy. Just a while back, the couple announced their children’s names on Instagram. The caption read, “With boundless joy and divine grace. We are delighted to announce the beautiful names of our two little blessings, “𝑺𝒉𝒊𝒗𝒂 𝑹𝒂𝒎 𝑲𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒂” & “𝑨𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒂 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒊 𝑲𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒂”.

What Do The Names Mean?

Shivram is a name that merges two eternal ideals: Lord Shiva and Lord Rama. It symbolises strength balanced with restraint, devotion, and righteousness. The name also pays homage to Ram Charan’s father, Chiranjeevi, whose birth name is Shiv Shankar Vara Prasad, thus honouring their lineage and expressing gratitude.

Their daughter, Anveera Devi, embodies boundless courage and divine feminine energy. “Veera” signifies bravery, while “An” emphasises its limitless nature. It was also revealed that the couple consulted an astrologer to choose the ideal timing for delivery and arranged prayers at a temple ahead of the birth. The couple had known each other for years and were friends before they fell in love and tied the knot. Upasana is the granddaughter of Prathap C Reddy, founder of Apollo Hospitals, while Ram is the son of Megastar Chiranjeevi. Their first child, Klin Kaara, was born in June 2023.
