Actor Akhil Akkineni is getting ready for his new action drama movie titled Lenin. The film is directed by Murali Kishore Abburu. At first, actress Sreeleela was said to be the female lead but now, according to new reports, she might no longer be part of the film.

Sreeleela left the project because of scheduling problems according to the reports of 123Telugu. The filmmakers are now searching for a new actress to take her place. Since the shooting has already started, this change could cause small delays. However, the makers have not officially confirmed anything yet.

The story of Lenin deals with honour killings, a serious social issue. The film will be shot in Rayalaseema. Akhil plays a man from a backward community who faces many social struggles. The music for the movie will be composed by SS Thaman.
