Vijay Deverakonda Meets With Car Accident In Telangana; Kingdom Actor Shares Health Update

Vijay Deverakonda recently made headlines again, but this time not for his engagement to Rashmika Mandanna. The Kingdom actor was reportedly involved in a car accident near Undavalli in the Jogulamba Gadwala district in Telangana. The incident occurred when a Bolero driver suddenly took a right turn, colliding with Vijay’s Lexus. Thankfully, he escaped without any injuries.

Vijay Deverakonda Escapes Without Injuries After Collision

Vijay was inside the vehicle when the mishap occurred. While the car sustained damage, the actor and his companions were safe, as per India Today report. A video showing the damaged car went viral online, where the front left side of the vehicle appeared to have taken the major impact.

Following the reports, Vijay took to social media to reassure fans. On X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “All is well. The car took a hit, but we are all fine. Went and did a strength workout as well, and just got back home. My head hurts, but nothing a biryani and sleep will not fix. So, the biggest hugs and my love to all of you. Don’t let the news stress you.”

Police confirmed that the actor was travelling from Puttaparthi to Hyderabad around 3 pm, accompanied by two others. None of them were injured. The team later filed a report for insurance purposes after Vijay switched to another vehicle.

The news surfaced soon after his visit to the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Prasanthi Nilayam ashram with family and amid reports of his engagement to Rashmika Mandanna, held at his Hyderabad residence on October 3, 2025. The reports also suggest the couple plans a destination wedding in February 2026, though they haven’t confirmed it yet.

On the work front, Vijay has Rowdy Janardhan and VD14 lined up and is rumored to star in a new project with Rashmika.
