While audiences see the drama, twists, and emotions unfold on screen, the person creating these stories often carries their own untold emotions. The co-writer, Avinash Dwivedi, of the trending thriller Mandala Murders recently opened up about how his work in writing and acting stems from his personality and inner world.

Avinash Dwivedi Admits Expressing Himself Through Writing

In an honest and heartfelt reflection, Avinash, who’s also known for co-writing Kakuda, said, “Main chahta hoon ki log khud find out karein aur khud hi explore karein. Har kisi ki apni kahani hoti hai, aur har kisi ke jeevan mein pyaar hota hai. Everybody has that dark side somewhere inside them, and a humorous side also, and love also. Main ek introvert hoon, main zyada express nahi karta, isliye meine writing aur acting mein dilchaspi li, kyunki art ke through apne emotions ko express kar sakte hain. Real life mein, main apne emotions ko express karne mein bahut kamzor hoon, isliye main apni writing aur acting ke through yeh kar leta hoon.”

For him, art is not just a creative outlet but also a safe space; a way to communicate what words often fail to capture in everyday life. His stories, he believes, are not simply fictional plots but mirrors of universal human experiences: love, humour, darkness, and vulnerability.

This approach also means he leaves space for viewers to interpret his work in their way. “I want people to find and explore things themselves,” he says, underlining his belief that every audience member will connect with a story differently. It’s clear that behind its suspenseful narrative lies the voice of a writer who pours his truth into every scene, using art as the bridge between his private self and the world.
