Rasha Thadani Questions Deforestation In Order To Advance Development, Says, “We Can’t Afford To Lose Our Forests”

Bollywood celebrities have expressed concern over deforestation in Hyderabad Kancha Gachibowli area to build an IT Park. Among those speaking out against this environmental crisis is Rasha Thadani, a passionate advocate for nature and wildlife conservation. Her concerns are particularly relevant in light of the recent massive deforestation in Hyderabad. The city has witnessed large-scale tree felling for infrastructure projects, sparking outrage among environmentalists and citizens.

Rich, dense forests, home to countless species of birds, animals, and plants. Yet, we silently watch as they continue to disappear in the name of development. How much more suffering does our wildlife need to go through!?”

As someone who deeply values nature, Rasha has consistently used her platform to highlight environmental issues. She emphasized, “Unfortunately, us humans are selfish, we only think for our own benefit. With that being said, our country struggles with pollution, we NEED these jungles for clean air, clean water, and a healthier future. If not for nature itself, protect our wildlife for our survival!! Every tree cut, every jungle lost, brings us closer to crisis. Temperatures are soaring, water is disappearing. WE NEED OUR FORESTS. Cutting the forests down for development is a contradictory statement. What will we do with this “development” without a healthy and clean place, go live, breathe, survive!?”

She then added that people from all over the world come to visit forests in India. “It’s a shame to see our country so BLESSED with forests and biodiversity, and yet we’re gasping for clean air,” wrote Rasha.

Apart from Rasha, celebs like John Abraham, Sonakshi Sinha and Richa Chaddha have raised concern about environment and appealed Telangana government to avoid such an activity.
