Actor Saanand Verma is not a new name in the industry. Having featured in movies like Mardaani, Raid, Chhichhore, Babli Bouncer, to name some, and shows like Lapataganj, F.I.R., and Sacred Games, he is currently seen in Binaiferr and Sanjay Kohli’s Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain!, which is produced under their banner Edit II. The actor shared he is all praise for his co-star Aasif Sheikh, who plays Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in the show, and said, “I share a strong bond with Aasif Sheikh. I really like him.”

“He’s a very good person and such a senior and experienced actor. I’ve learned a lot from him. He always gives me great guidance and support. Out of everyone, I feel the closest bond with him,” he added.
He also confessed that their bond grew stronger over time and added that since he has been doing more scenes with him, their bond naturally developed. He added, “It helps us perform better, improves our improvisation, and builds mutual respect. We start listening to each other’s suggestions, appreciating them, and working together with a true team spirit.”
The entertainment industry is quite competitive, and Saanand agrees to it. However, he added that if there’s healthy competition between co-actors, it’s a good thing.
“The truth is I don’t get into these things at all. I stay completely focused on my creative exploration. I don’t involve myself in any kind of competition. I have my own pace, my own path. And the character I play, Saxena, lives in his own world. He doesn’t depend on anyone. He’s a loner, and he has his own duties, his own weird habits, things that no one else does. That’s what makes him so unique,” he said.
“In Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, I’m not part of any competition. In fact, I’m the only one in the show who calls Bhabiji ‘Maa’. My character is so unusual there’s never been a character like this in the world of television. He enjoys getting slapped, never feels hungry, takes injections for fun, drinks lizard soup, and even enjoys electric shocks! He is truly one of a kind. I feel very lucky to have been given such a special character to play,” he added.
He further shared that he is grateful for the role and mentioned that the only person he competes with is he himself. He said, “I always try to improve my performance every day. Wherever I work, I carry this mindset with me: I’m here to grow, to do more hard work, and to perform better than I did yesterday.”
“I always work as a team player. I think about the audience, and I think about the entire project, not just about my personal performance,” Saanand ended.
