Bombay Fables, founded by journalist-turned-director Sejal Shah and National Award-winning writer Bhavesh Mandalia, has made its mark with unconventional and trailblazing content with a unparalleled record of all six being a success. This includes the Netflix series Saare Jahaan Se Accha – written and showrun by Bhavesh, Serious Men written by Bhavesh, the stylized comedy Decoupled, the award-winning Delhi Crime Season 2, and the thriller Asur 2, which broke viewing records on JioCinema and the Costao on Zee 5 which was written by Bhavesh and directed by Sejal herself.

Sejal Shah, Bhavesh Mandalia’s Bombay Fables Unveils Slate Of 5 Major Films

Sejal and Bhavesh are now focusing on five major projects under their banner collaborating with renowned filmmakers Vishal Furia, Rajesh Mapuskar, Shwetabh Varma, Ashish Aryan & Sejal Shah. The upcoming lineup spans diverse genres like social comedy, thriller, romance, and action and drama.

The slate includes:

  1. Japani, An action-comedy helmed by Rajesh Mapuskar, Written by Simaab Hashmi, Saurabh Jain.
  2. An untitled comedy thriller from Vishal Furia
  3. Mister One by Two, A social comedy directed by Ashish Aryan, written by Ashish Aryan and Kunal Kushwah.
  4. An untitled rescue mission drama based on a true story, directed by Shwetabh Varma and written by Nikhil Nair
  5. A thriller to be directed by Sejal Shah and written by Nikhil Nair.

Speaking about the diversity of projects, Sejal said, “We love working with creators who bring discomfort and clarity in equal measure.
