Avneet Kaur and Siddharth Nigam are one of the most-loved young jodis of Indian Television. The duo set the TV screens ablaze with their chemistry in Aladdin Naam Toh Suna Hoga. Not only onscreen, but Siddharth Nigam and Avneet Kaur share a warm bond in real-life also. They share a close and strong connection. Rumours of SidNeet being in a romantic relationship have surfaced several times. However, both have maintained that they’re just good friends.

Now, in an interview with the Times of India, Avneet Kaur has reacted to her dating rumours with Siddhart Nigam. Like always, Avneet reiterated that she and Siddharth are ‘just good friends.’ The actress went on to reveal that the link-up speculations don’t upset, rather she feels glad that they’re done their job as actors.

“I don’t get upset with people who link me with Siddharth or think that we are dating. Instead, I am glad that they think we are dating because our job is done there. Our chemistry is so good that people saw us as Shahrukh Khan and Kajol,” she told. Avneet Kaur also added that it is a compliment for her and Siddharth Nigam. She said that she often congratulates Sid that their hard work paid off and people believe in the characters that they portrayed onscreen.

Ask her how life has changed after playing Yasmine on Aladdin, Avneet shares that the show gave her an ‘audience.’ “People really liked watching Siddharth ( Nigam) and me in those roles. It had everything – drama, magic and romance,” she said. She added that because of the show she has got a ‘new audience.’ which is young and she is glad about it. The actress is also happy that people related to the character.

Lastly, Avneet Kaur revealed that she wants to explore the OTT platforms now, and wishes to stay away from the small screen. She wishes to experiment and challenge herself with different roles. And thus, TV is not on her mind. But, she is keen to be a part of reality shows, web shows and films.
