A few days back we had come across an emotional video of ‘Begusarai’ actor Rajesh Kareer seeking financial help in order to sustain his life. The actor was in such a bad situation that he said even help of as little as Rs 300 will mean a lot to him.

The actor had posted a video on his Facebook account asking people to help him financially so that he could go back to his hometown Punjab. Now in his latest video, Rajesh has thanked all his well-wishers who came out to help him. The actor even requested everyone to stop depositing money into his account as he has received enough.

In his latest video, Rajesh can be heard saying, “Please don’t deposit more money in my account as I feel I have received more than I am worthy of. It feels like all of India came out to support me and has blessed me and my family.” He further added, “I am no longer in the same situation that I was in last week.”

Also thanking the media and everyone who offered help, Rajesh said he doesn’t know how he would pay back this kindness shown towards him.

Even Rajesh’s ‘Begusarai’ co-star Shivangi Joshi also transferred Rs. 10, 000 into his account as soon as she came to know about his plight. Thanking her Rajesh was quoted saying by SpotBoyE as, “I am really happy with her gesture. We were not so close to each other on the set but despite that she came ahead to help me in this crisis, it means a lot.”

Off late owing to the Coronavirus induced several daily wagers and artistes from the entertainment industry are facing financial woes. Two actors Manmeet Grewal and Preksha Mehta committed suicide due to financial issues and uncertainty about getting work in future.
