Bharti Singh’s old tweet saying ‘stop taking drugs’ goes viral after her arrest; netizens say, “Now she will take that gyaan from NCB”

On Saturday, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested comedian Bharti Singh for possession and consumption of banned drugs. The NCB officials even recovered 86.50 gms of ganja (marijuana) after their raid at Bharti’s residence and office. On Sunday, NCB also arrested Bharti’s husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa.

Soon after Bharti’s arrest, her old tweet on drugs resurfaced on social media and went viral in no time. In her 2015 tweet, Bharti had written about how consumption of drugs is harmful. She had even urged everyone to stop taking drugs. Netizens wasted no time in trolling the comedian for her tweet on drugs.

In her tweet, which Bharti had shared in 2015, she had written, “Please stop taking drugs it is harmful to your health.” Now trolling her, one of the users wrote, “5 years ago #BhartiSingh used to give gyaan on drugs“. Whereas another user wrote, “This tweet proves that #BhartiSingh is truly a comedian. Mast joke mara rey…..“. One of the netizens observed, “Now she will take that gyaan from NCB.”

Coming back to Bharti, she along with her husband Haarsh were taken for medical examination today. They are expected to be produced before a designation court on today.
