Adnaan Shaikh, a well-known social media personality and former contestant of Bigg Boss OTT 3, has found himself amid a heated conflict with his sister, Iffat. Adnaan Shaikh sues sister Iffat for defamation

Adnaan Shaikh has recently filed a defamation case against his sister, Iffat at Dindoshi Court, Mumbai, following months of escalating tensions within their family. On October 11, 2024, Adnaan was seen arriving at the court with his lawyer, ready to take legal action.

Recently, Adnaan’s father spoke out about the ongoing controversy between the siblings. He stated, “My daughter’s in-laws are forcing her to do this.” He recalled the anguish this situation caused. “Adnaan and I urged her not to be with such a person, but she didn’t listen to us at all,” referring to her husband’s habits of drinking and smoking.

Adnaan’s mother, who is currently on oxygen and struggling to maintain stability due to emotional stress, is also deeply affected. Adnaan’s father shared the gravity of their situation: “This has severely impacted their health; my wife has 50% lung damage. We are now staying with relatives, seeking refuge from the constant inquiries and judgments surrounding this controversy.”

According to Adnaan, the conflict had been brewing for eight months, during which he chose to remain silent. However, the situation took a turn for the worse when Iffat began making public comments about his wife, Ayesha, and their parents. This, Adnaan explained, was the tipping point, prompting him to move forward with the defamation suit. In his brief interaction with the media outside the court, Adnaan expressed his disappointment. He stated that his family matters should have remained private.
