Daboo Malik Blames Himself For Amaal Mallik’s Anger Issues; ADMITS, “I Was Temperamental, He Saw The Worst In Me”

Bigg Boss 19 is undoubtedly a controversial show and Amaal Malik has emerged as one of its most popular and controversial contestants. The singer – who has been at he centre of several fights and arguments in the BB19 house, is often slammed on social media for his anger. A few weeks into the show, Amaal’s father Daboo Malik appeared on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode to support his son and guide him on his performance and behaviour.

Now, during a recent chat, Daboo opened up about Amaal being called temperamental and more. Read on.

Daboo Malik Blames Himself For Amaal Mallik’s Anger Issues

Speaking to News18 Showsha, Daboo opened up about Amaal Mallik being called short-tempered. Blaming himself for his son’s frequent and fervent outbursts, the veteran music composer said, “Where did Amaal get his short-tempered trait? From me. If his music has come from me, he must have imbibed the other things also from me. There must be some issues with me as well. Before I try to correct him, I should look within and at my own journey.”

Talking about how he wasn’t the most perfect father to his sons – especially to Amaal, Daboo continued, “I should think about how I behaved in front of him when he was growing up. Was I mature enough to bring up a child and give him the right guidance and direction? Was I a father who minded his P-s and Q-s? No, I had many faults. I was temperamental too. He grew up seeing the worst in me.”

Daboo: I Feel I Would Be Worse Than Him In Bigg Boss

Defending Amaal’s behaviour in the Bigg Boss 19 house, Daboo Malik stated he would’ve been even more controversial in the same show. He said, “Keeping these things in mind, I feel that I would be worse than him if I was in the Bigg Boss house. I think navigating the house will be very easy for me basis the experiences that I’ve had. I would give all contestants a run for their money. People don’t know how my mind works! I’m a very interesting and sharp person. If I were to enter the house, I would create a ‘Rumble In The Bronx’. Dhamaal ho jaata.”
