Dalljiet Kaur takes legal action against estranged husband Nikhil Patel, issues stay order for the safety of her and son

Actor Dalljiet Kaur and her wedding with Nikhil Patel have hit rock bottom for quite some time now. From deleting wedding pictures on social media to Kaur accusing Patel of an extramarital affair, their issues in marriage have been public now. However, the latest updates related to the case suggest that Dalljiet returned to Kenya to take legal action against her estranged husband. She has now gotten a stay order from Milimani Court in Nairobi City, Kenya that prohibits Nikhil from evicting Dalljiet and her son Jaydon from the matrimonial house.

Hindustan Times gets the official document of the stay order after she issued by Milimani Court in Nairobi City, Kenya on June 11. The statement states, “Pending the hearing and final determination of this application, an injunction is hereby issued restraining the Respondent (Patel), his agents, employees and/or servants from evicting the Petitioner/Applicant (Kaur) and her child (Jaydon) and/or throwing out and/or whatsoever dealing with the personal effects and belongings of the Petitioner/Applicant in her matrimonial home (in Kenya).” As per the notice, the next hearing in the case is scheduled for June 28.

According to reports, Dalljiet Kaur’s social media posts accusing her husband of an extramarital affair may pose legal issues under the Indian Penal Code, the Information Technology Act of 2000, and The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act of 2012. According to Patel, her posts could make her subject to civil and criminal proceedings. For the unversed, after Daljiet accused Nikhil of an extramarital affair, he sent a legal notice asking her to leave the house with all her belongings.

Earlier, Nikhil Patel shared a selfie from the gym in Kenya and wrote, “You make me better. SN.” He mentioned the initial ‘SN’ in the story. Reacting to the same, Dalljiet Kaur lashed out at him while claiming that he was having an extramarital affair with a girl. It seemed ‘SN’ was the initial of his girlfriend.

Kaur took to her social media to reshare the photo of Nikhil Patel and expose him. She wrote, “You are out on social media with her now everyday shamelessly. Your wife and son came back in 10 months of the wedding. The entire family is humiliated. Some dignity for the kids would have been good. At least u should have left your wife little dignity publically as I was quiet about a lot of other things too.“
