Dhruv Bhandari and Shruti Merchant welcome a baby girl; actor says, ‘Feeling is difficult to describe’

‘Tere Sheher Mein’ actor Dhruv Bhandari and wife Shruti Merchant became proud parents of a baby girl on Saturday. The couple is very excited to be new parents and they feel overwhelmed with joy. They had kept the pregnancy a secret they wanted to enjoy the journey on their own. Now, they have opened up about the new arrival in their lives.

According to a report by Times of India, Dhruv said, “Shruti and I are ecstatic. The feeling is so overwhelming, it’s difficult to describe.” When he was asked why the couple kept the news of the pregnancy a secret he said it was not the intention at all, “That definitely wasn’t the intention. It was just that I was inactive on social media. I did share a few posts during the pregnancy, but mostly, we just wanted to enjoy the journey on our own.”

The couple hasn’t decided on a name yet, although they do have some names shortlisted. “We wanted to see her and hold her first. We do have a few names in mind though, so let’s see,” he signs off.

Dhruv tied the knot with the Bollywood Choreographer Shruti Merchant in June 2017. Dhruv was last seen in ‘Tere Sheher Mein’. Then, he was also seen in ‘Rakt Sambandh’ and he was also seen in the Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi starrer movie ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji’.
