Bigg Boss 16: Divyanka Tripathi dismisses reports of participating in the Salman Khan hosted show

Salman Khan is set to return with a new season of Bigg Boss. Bigg Boss 16 will begin on October 1 and several celebs are rumoured to be a part of the show. Divyanka Tripathi was reported to be a part of the upcoming season Bigg Boss 16. Divyanka Tripathi has now dismissed rumours of her entering the Bigg Boss 16 house. Divyanka took to Twitter to shut down the rumours.

The actress tweeted, “Hi! Since all my admirers and viewers are very eager to know, I am compelled to tweet that – “I am not a part of Bigg Boss. Whatever you are hearing and reading in this regard is false news.” Thanks for overwhelming love always!”

Diyanka is one of the most popular actors in the industry. She is known for playing Vidya Pratap Singh in Banoo Main Teri Dulhaan and Dr. Ishita Iyer Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

Apart from Divyanka, Jannat Zubair was also rumoured to be participating in the Salman Khan hosted show. However, Jannat’s father dismissed the rumours saying, “No, Jannat is not going inside the Bigg Boss house.”

On the other hand, Shalin Bhanot will be reportedly seen in the upcoming season. Pinkvilla earlier quoted a source saying, “Shalin was approached even in the past for earlier seasons, but he couldn’t take it up then because of some other commitments. However, he has agreed to be a part of Bigg Boss 16 now and is excited about being a part of the show.” Earlier, Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal had revealed that he was offered the show but turned down the offer.
