Off late, the singing reality show Indian Idol 12 has been grabbing eyeballs for all the wrong reasons. From fake love angles, to special guests complaining about the makers’ request to praise every contestants, we have come across all sorts of controversies surrounding the latest season of Indian Idol.

Indian Idol 12 host, Aditya Narayan recently reacted to the claims of the show’s judgement being fudged. Aditya said that Indian Idol 12 is the most watched show in the entire decade so he would rather not focus on the negativity.

Commenting on claims of the show’s judgement being doctored,  Aditya told SpotboyE, “Our producers Sony, Fremantle & TCT along with the entire team are thrilled with the love and success of the current season. This is the most watched reality show in the entire past decade. We want  to focus on that. We would rather not think about the negativity.”

Indian Idol 12 made headlines when Kishore Kumar’s son Amit Kumar had revealed that he was asked to praise every contestant irrespective of the quality of their performance.

Reacting to such claims once again, Aditya said that no one on the show is expected to praise anyone just for the sake of it. “Let me assure them, as long as I am hosting Indian Idol, no one here needs to praise anyone for the heck of it. Be yourself, say what you want and just come visit our show and bless us. I speak only for myself. I can’t speak on behalf of other seasons as the team/production was entirely different,” he told the portal.

Revealing about the show’s grand finale, Aditya said the makers are planning something huge.
