The 50: Kriti Verma Supports Evicted Contestant Khanzaadi Amid Ongoing Row; Says, “Anyone With Basic Logic Can See What’s Happening”

The controversy surrounding Khanzaadi on The 50 continues to grow, but so does the support for her. After Soniya Bansal, Kriti Verma has now come out strongly in Khanzaadi’s defence, questioning the narrative being built around her and calling it illogical and incomplete.

Following the ongoing controversy, Kriti Verma said that blaming Khanzaadi does not make sense to anyone who has followed her journey closely. Additionally, speaking about her time on Bigg Boss, Kriti reminded viewers that Khanzaadi was under constant camera surveillance and was loved for her honesty and unfiltered personality. She said, “Anyone with basic logic can see what’s happening here. We all watched Khanzaadi in Bigg Boss—24×7, unfiltered, real—and loved her for exactly that.”

Questioning the sudden shift in perception, Kriti pointed out that The 50 has an overload of celebrities and multiple storylines. According to her, this has resulted in crucial parts of arguments being edited out. She said, “Now cut to The 50, a show bursting at the seams with celebrities and competing narratives. And suddenly, crucial parts of arguments are being conveniently edited out.”

Kriti expressed concern over how this selective portrayal is affecting Khanzaadi’s image. She added, “What truly hurts is that these selective edits are actively damaging her image. Let’s be honest—taali dono haath se bajti hai.” Emphasising that reactions don’t come without reason, she said such intense outbursts must have strong provocation behind them.

Showing empathy, Kriti admitted she may be among the few speaking openly, but said her heart goes out to Khanzaadi. She urged the channel to be fair and show both sides of the argument so audiences can judge for themselves. Ending her message on a supportive note, Kriti said, “Until then, Khanzaadi, I hope you rise above these edits and manufactured perceptions. Stay true to who you are. You deserve far better than this.”
