Kumkum Bhagya, Wagle Ki Duniya Fame Sanchita Ugale Dies By Suicide- Report

Actress Sanchita Ugale, known for performances in shows like Kumkum Bhagya and Wagle Ki Duniya, is no more. As per reports, the 22-year-old actress passed away yesterday after allegedly committing suicide at her residence in Maharashtra’s Palghar district. Scroll below to know more details.

Sanchita Ugale Passes Away By Suicide

As per media reports, Sanchita Ugale allegedly hanged herself from a ceiling fan at her home in the Nallasopara area on Sunday. Officials noted that the incident took place around 7 pm when she was alone at her home. A police official told PTI, “A police team inspected the scene immediately after being alerted about the incident. We did not find anything suspicious at the spot, and no suicide note was recovered.”

As per the reports, the actress’ father told the Achole police that he does not suspect any foul play or hold anyone responsible for her death. At the time of reports, the police have sent the actress’ remains to a government hospital for a postmortem examination. They have also registered a case of accidental death and launched a probe to ascertain the motive behind the extreme step.

Sanchita Ugale gained fame as Diya Tandon in the TV serial Kumkum Bhagya. Aside from this show, Sanchita also starred in Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kisse, followed by a lead role in Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi. Sanchita also featured in a couple of films, including portraying the younger version of Tara Rani in the historical drama Chhaava.

She also shared the screen with Manoj Bajpayee in the investigative thriller Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout.

Her last Instagram post – shared a few hours before her death, saw her appear happy and chirpy. In the video post, she was seen dancing to the Student of the Year hit track Radha. The video is currently being widely circulated on social media by her fans.
