Mohsin Khan aka Kartik to say goodbye to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai after 5 long years?

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the longest-running shows on television in India and it has a huge army of fan following. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been soaring high on the rating charts and it is soaring high every week. But, if the rumour mill is to be believed there is some bad news for YRKKH fans as it is said that Mohsin Khan who plays Kartik on the show will bid adieu to the show.

As per a report by the Times of India, a source revealed, “Yes Mohsin is planning to move on. Since the show is going in for a generation leap, he wouldn’t want to play an older character. So he decided to take a short break. Along with television, he would now want to try out different mediums like OTT and movies.”

The source further said, “It’s all amicable between him and the production house. Mohsin has always considered producer Rajan Shahi his mentor and guide and he too has spoken highly about Mohsin in his interviews.”

But, on the bright side, the report said that the makers are planning some interesting twists for Mohsin who is a very integral part of the show as the source said, “He is likely to be a part of show for sone more tine after which his exit will be planned”
