The second wave of COVID 19 has caused havoc in the country. Almost every day we hear the painful news of someone losing their lives to the virus. Now, Zain Imam is reeling in pain as his cousin has succumbed to COVID. In a piece of saddening news, Naamkarann fame Zain Imam informed that his cousin Syed Taqi Imam passed away due to COVID 19.

Zain Imam penned a heartening note in remembrance of his late cousin. The actor was unable to fathom that his cousin was no longer between them. Bidding his final adieu, Zain wrote, “We still can’t believe you left us so early Bhaijaan. We all were positive that you will come out of this but guess Allah had something else in mind. You will be dearly missed bhai. This post is in remembrance of the hardships of life you faced with a smiling face.”

He mentioned that it is a loss for the industry also as they’ve lost a great writer, poet, speaker and importantly a gentle and humble human being. Zain further shared that his cousin’s mother had passed away merely 10 days ago, but they were hopeful that he will fight back the virus. The actor shared that about 300 people were praying for his cousin’s recovery, but they’re bereaved now.

“I can’t express the pain we all are going through but bhai we know that you are in a much much better space looking and smiling from jannat. Can not comprehend the loss. He fought throughout his life till the end. May Allah give him peace and jannat. You will surely be missed bhai,” Zain mourned.

Meanwhile, Anushka Sen, Sharad Malhotra, Abhishek Kapur and several others offered their deepest condolences to Zain and his family. On the professional front, Zain is known for his roles in Naamkarann, Ishqbaaaz and Ek Bhram…Sarvagun Sampanna. He has been away from the TV screens for a long time, and was last seen in a few music videos.
