‘Indian Idol 12’: Neha Kakkar gifts THIS whopping amount to Shantabai Pawar aka Warrior Aaji for performing lathi stunt

Neha Kakkar is currently judging the singing reality show ‘Indian Idol 12’. As per a report in IANS, Neha surprised Shantabai Pawar aka Warrior Aaji by gifting her an amount of Rs 1 lakh. For the unversed, Shantabai Pawar’s video of her performing lathi stunts on the streets of Pune went viral.

Shantabai did body-double to various Bollywood celebs in the 80s and 90s. She shared her story on ‘Indian Idol 12’. She said, “I’m performing since I was eight years old. People mostly remain indoors due to Covid, so I clang utensils to make them aware of my performance. I now take care of 10 orphan girls and provide for them. There are times when I go hungry in order to feed these girls.” Neha was inspired by her story and this made her give the veteran this amount as a noble gesture. In the video shared by Sony TV official, we see the sari-clad octogenarian effortlessly rotating a stick several times in her hand.

Coming back to Neha, her new song titled ‘Khyaal Rakhya Kar’ with her husband Rohanpreet Singh released recently. She announced the song with a poster where she was seen with a baby bump. Later, she and Rohan were brutally trolled for using pregnancy as a cheap publicity stunt.
