Parth Samthaan recently made a smashing comeback on television space as ACP Ayushman in CID. However, the journey and decision was not a cakewalk for the actor. After reports surfaced that Shivaji Satam’s charater as ACP Pradyuman will come to an end and Parth will fill in that shoes the actir faced major backlash. Recently, reports were also rife that his stint will be short and he will soon exit the show. The actor has not reacted to the reports.
Is Parth Samthaan exiting CID?
In an interview with Midday, the Kasauti Zindagi Kay actor was asked if his character had entered CID to stay. He replied, “It’s a mystery for me too.” However, he clarified that he hasn’t been informed about any such track changes and firmly confirmed, “I am very much part of the show.” On the possibility of his role being scrapped, he added, “It also Parth Samthaan reacts to rumours of quitting CID and shares his opinion on facing backlash for replacing Shivaji Satam. the audience will react.”
A few days back, Parth had also reacted to the backlash for his entry. However, he was all praise for Shivaji Satam and said, “It’s a huge responsibility. I recently shot with Shivaji Sir, and it was a fantastic experience. At 75, his energy and dedication are incredible. He’s been consistent in his role for over two decades, and that’s truly commendable”.
He further added, “Honestly, I didn’t expect the trolling to be this intense. I understand where it’s coming from. Even I have been a fan of Shivaji Sir and the original characters. If I were in the viewers’ place, I’d probably feel the same seeing someone new step into such a loved role”.
Talking about CID, during last week, Shivaji’s character was seen getting seemingly killed in an explosion by Barboza (Tigmanshu Dhulia). However, his death was not shown on screen. Is there a possibility of his return?
