Parth Samthaan On Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan success

Parth Samthaan and Niti Taylor starrer Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan stands out as an immensely popular Hindi television series, particularly resonating with the younger audience. The show first aired on television and later moved to OTT space with several seasons. While the show is a massive hit, it took a toll on actors initially. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Parth recalls how Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan success got into his head and how personal life was screwed and messed.

Parth on personal life getting screwed due to Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan

Talking about how the show’s success came with a lot of hiccups. Parth recalls, “So Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan was that one show that gave me my first success, and until then, I had never tasted success. The show gave me success but also it took a lot away from my personal life. That happened with other actors as well, who were a part of the show. Our personal lives were screwed, were dismantled, were a mess. And it takes a toll on you because shooting extensively and excruciatingly every day for 16 hours to meet telecast deadlines. So it is a very ‘meeting the target’ sort of work.”

He added, “So that initially, and especially with that success, it went to my head. I didn’t know how to react. After I left Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan season two and everything, I took a break. That was more like a downfall for me, but again, it was a learning experience. That actually taught me a lot. And till today, irrespective of how my project does or doesn’t do, I’ve kept myself at a very same level.”

He concluded, “I remember during Kasautii Zindagii Kay and I kept playing my character Anurag. But I never went into that zone of ‘Oh, this is one of the biggest shows I’ve gotten.’ I very much trusted in Ekta Kapoor’s conviction and she was proud of me. But that time also I didn’t let success or positives take on to me.”
