Parth Samthaan To QUIT CID 2 After ‘ACP Pradyuman’ Shivaji Satam’s Return?

Previously, in an interview, Parth Samthaan also admitted that he had doubts about taking on the role of ACP Ayushman in CID. CID fans were left shocked, disappointed, and even excited after Parth Samthaan replaced Shivaji Satam in the show earlier this year. While the latter used to play the role of ACP Pradyuman in the popular series, Parth was introduced as ACP Ayushman following the death of Satam’s character.

Even though Parth’s performance has been widely appreciated, a new report by Money Control now claims that this development has negatively impacted the show’s TRP. Reportedly, CID, which is also streaming on Netflix now, has been struggling to maintain its high TRP. As a result, the makers are reportedly considering bringing back Shivaji Satam as ACP Pradyuman to boost the show’s ratings.

This has led many to wonder if Parth Samthaan might exit the show. However, another report by Filmibeat suggests that this might not be the case. “The rumours of Parth leaving might be false. The channel has to understand that the easy availability of CID 2 online and competition from IPL 2025 have severely affected the viewership of the show. Just Shivaji Satam’s exit was a promotional gimmick; we have to wait for some time to know the clear picture,” a source cited by the entertainment portal said.

It should be noted that neither Parth Samthaan nor the makers have confirmed any developments regarding the rumoured exit of the actor or the return of ACP Pradyuman. Previously, in an interview, Parth admitted that he had doubts about taking on the role of ACP Ayushman.
