The ‘Bigg Boss 13’ contestant, Rashami Desai has come out as one of the strongest ladies from the reality show. In spite of having several hurdles in her personal life, the actress has definitely emerged as an independent woman and she is definitely an inspiration for her followers.

Rashami, who is currently in buzz for bagging a role in Ekta Kapoor’s serpent drama ‘Naagin 4’, speaks up about the dark phase of her life. The ‘Uttaran’ actress spills the beans on how she dealt with deep depression.

Recently while talking to Pinkvilla, Rashami revealed how she was dealing with depression in her life. The actress said, “I was in a deep depression for almost four years and I really wanted to leave life. I did not want to see anybody’s face. You know when you expect something and get something else and life will give you surprises in many ways and when you are not ready to accept the reality, you somehow find it difficult.”

Rashami rose to fame after portraying the role of Tapasya Thakur in the renowned television show, ‘Uttaran’. The actress has been proving her acting metal with each of her new projects. Talking about her professional life, she says that work has played a key role in helping her come out of depression.

“Professionally I was always doing good because I was always loyal to my work and I used to feel happy while working. In fact, that was the only thing that helped me come out of depression. It gave me more power and a reality check. Personally, whatever I was going through, I never let that affect my work,” she concluded saying.
