Riyaz Aly Justifies Why He Didn’t Support Akanksha Choudhary Or Shreya Kalra During Lock Upp Fight; Says, “Even If They’re My Friends…”

Riyaz Aly has finally addressed the heated controversy between Shreya Kalra and Akanksha Choudhary on Lock Upp Sach Yaa Sazaa, making it clear that he isn’t taking sides in the matter. During the press conference, the influencer and reality show contestant shared his honest opinion on the clash, stating that both contestants made mistakes and that it would be unfair to support one over the other, even if they were his friends. Riyaz Aly Chooses Between Akanksha Choudhary And Shreya Kalra

During the press conference, when Bollywood Bubble’s reporter asked about whom he supports in Lock Upp S2 between Shreya Kalra and Akanksha Choudhary, Riyaz Aly said, “Nahi, mujhe is baare mein nahi pata. Dekho, show mein agar baat karein toh galti dono taraf se ho gayi thi. Pehle Shreya ki taraf se shuruaat hui, khaane ko lekar, ki ‘Sorry bolna hai aapko, tabhi milega.’ Lekin uske baad jo touch hua, obviously jaanbujhkar nahi maara tha. Akanksha ko bhi pata hai, usne bhi bola hai. Lekin uske baad dono taraf se galtiyan shuru ho gayi thi.”

He continued, “Main kisi ek ko support nahi kar sakta tha uss situation mein, kyunki dono ki taraf se galtiyan hui thi. So, it would be very wrong for me to support somebody, even if woh mera dost ho. Maine unko bhi bola tha ki, haan, jaise Akanksha ne khaane mein paani daal diya ya phir bedsheet par paani daal diya, toh maine baad mein jaake usse bola tha, ‘You shouldn’t do that.’ Theek hai? Obviously, woh cheez galat thi.”

Riyaz On Love Angle With Akanksha

Speaking about the romantic fan edits of him and Akanksha, Riyaz said, “Uske alawa jo love angle ki baat ho rahi hai, jo aap mera ‘Like angle’ bol rahe ho, waisa kuch nahi hai. Hum sirf friends hain. Main sabko aise hi dekhta hoon. Main sabko pyaar se dekhta hoon. Haan, fans ko aisa lag sakta hai, lekin sab friends hain yaar. Show mein sab dost hain. Maine Shreya ko bhi waise hi dekha hai, Shilpa ko bhi, sabko waise hi dekha hai.”

Riyaz Aly was eliminated from Lock Upp Sach Yaa Sazaa during the show’s second week, after finishing in the bottom two alongside Shreya Kalra. His exit was part of a double-elimination twist, which also saw fellow contestant Sunita Ahuja leave the show due to worsening health concerns.
