According to a report by Lokmat Times, the blaze sparked panic among the staff on-site. The Mumbai Fire Brigade was alerted at 6:10 AM and responded swiftly to the location behind the Marathi Bigg Boss set near Hathi Gate. The fire was declared a Level-I emergency, prompting five fire engines, four jumbo tankers, an Additional Divisional Fire Officer, and three station officers to rush to the scene and work to control the flames. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported, and everyone present was evacuated safely. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Speaking to Zoom, actor Shivam Khajuria who plays the part of Prem said, “What? I have no idea about it. It is my day off today. I hope nobody got injured and burnt because of the fire. I will get in touch with the team soon.”

The Anupamaa shoot was scheduled to start at 7 AM, with the preparations already underway when the fire broke out. Had the fire occurred during filming, the situation could have been far more tragic. Anupamaa, produced by Rajan Shahi, stars Rupali Ganguly alongside Adrija Roy, Shivam Khajuria, and others. Since premiering on July 13, 2020, it has remained one of the most popular and top-rated Indian television shows.
