Now, Bedi has spoken out to clear the air regarding the rumours connecting him to the actress. The viral photos and videos showed them posing together, hugging, and dancing at a party, leading to speculation that they might be a couple.

Sorab Bedi BREAKS SILENCE On Dating Rumours With Malaika Arora

In a podcast with Pinkvilla, Sorab recounted his first meeting with Malaika during his early modelling days. He shared, “During my modelling days, Malaika was close friends with people who used to give me shows. That’s how I became friends with her. I used to attend parties, and Malaika would also be there. We have been partying together since then; it’s not something that started recently. I had posted similar pictures and videos earlier as well, but back then I wasn’t very well known, so people didn’t pay attention.”

In an interview with Zoom TV and Telly Talk India, Sorab expressed disappointment over the assumptions being made about their bond and explained that they are simply friends. “Delnaz Daruwala and Vahbiz Mehta gave me a chance to walk the ramp during my modelling days. I became friends with them and started going out for parties. At one of the parties, I met Malaika (Arora) through my mentors. She is also a close friend of Delnaz and Vahbiz. Hence, Malaika and I became friends. There is nothing between us,” he said.

Sorab Says People Should Be Mindful While Commenting

The actor also urged people to be mindful while speculating about others’ personal lives. “People are talking several things about us. They should think twice before speaking about a girl. It could affect her mental state. Aisa karna nahin chahiye. (They shouldn’t do it).”

Sorab further added that the viral moment was not unusual, as they have been part of the same social circle for years. “I didn’t party with them for the first time. I have been partying with Vahbiz, Delnaz and Malaika for many years. I earlier used to share pictures with Malaika, but at that time, I was not a known face. Now, I am a known face; hence, it is now being noticed by people,” he shared.

Sorab’s clarification comes days after a video from a party at Malaika’s newly opened restaurant went viral. In the clip, the duo can be seen dancing and enjoying the celebration, fueling further speculation about their relationship. The reality star shared photos from the event on Instagram with Malaika and other guests. He congratulated the actress on her new venture. He wrote, “Congratulations malaikaaroraofficial for sweeneybombay (sic).”

Malaika Arora Dating Rumours

Earlier, Malaika was rumoured to be dating diamond merchant Harsh Mehta. The rumours intensified after the two were spotted together at a concert and later seen on several occasions. A picture of them from Rome had also circulated earlier this year. This led to speculation that they were celebrating Valentine’s Day together.

Previously, Malaika had been open about her relationship with actor Arjun Kapoor. However, she has not publicly addressed the rumours involving Harsh Mehta. Reports suggest there is a notable age gap between them, with Malaika being 52 and Harsh being 33.
