Swaran Ghar actress Sangita Ghosh reveals she is mother to 7-month-old baby girl

Television actress Sangita Ghosh who is married to Jaipur-based entrepreneur Shailendra Singh Rathore has revealed that she is a mom to a baby girl who is seventh-month old. Sangita revealed in an interview that her daughter was born premature last year on December 25 and the couple decided not to tell about it. They have named their daughter Devi

The Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand actress told Etimes, “It was an anxious time and she had issues being a premature baby and was in the NICU for 15-odd days. It’s not that we hid the news, but we decided not to talk about it till we felt the time was right. Sometimes, it feels so surreal that I ask my husband to pinch me.”

Talking about Devi, Sangita said that she is a very happy child and a copy of her husband. “I recited the Gayatri Mantra when I held her for the first time, she opened her eyes and smiled. I can’t forget that moment,” she added.

In 2015, Sangita had a miscarriage which was bad experience for her. She returned to work and resumed the shoot for Swaran Ghar soon after welcoming the baby girl. The actress said she was in two minds about taking up the show, but her husband supported her and told her that he was there for the baby. “That kind of support and confidence was overwhelming,” said Sangita.
