Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Character Dayaben Finalised, Mock Shoots Begin After Auditions – Report

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most much-loved shows in the Indian television space. The show, based on multiple characters, has Dayaben missing after Disha Vakani’s exit. Now, as per the latest updates, the makers have begun their search for a new face.

Maker Asit Modi had been conducting auditions for the character of Dayaben and had finally liked someone. According to the News 18 sources, the actor’s identity has not been revealed yet but has started the mock shoots.  

The source revealed, “Yes, it is right. Asit ji had been looking for a new Dayaben, and recently, one of the auditions impressed him a lot. Mock shoots with the actress are underway. It’s been around a week that she has been here, shooting with us.”

Despite Dayaben’s absence from TMKOC, Asit Modi’s program has been able to change with the times by adopting a new viewpoint. For sixteen years, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has operated with success. In addition to doing incredibly well, the show has managed to hold onto its position on the TRP ratings.
