Tinaa Dattaa gives a reality check about shooting ‘Naxalbari’ amidst Coronavirus scare

‘Uttaran’ fame Tinaa Dattaa is making her web series debut with ‘Naxalbari’. We spoke to Tinaa a few days back and she was shooting her portion in Goa. On shooting amid the Coronavirus pandemic, Tinaa said, “It is safer here in Goa compare to Mumbai. People are staying in hotels and we have our cars and everything. There are cars reserved especially for us. People wear masks, take safety precautions, sanitization, temperature check and all.”

When asked if she is scared, the actress said, “Daar toh lagta hi hain and the fear will always be there until the vaccine is out. Because we never want to fall sick and to avoid that I keep sanitising my hands every 15 minutes. I carry food from the hotel. I can’t keep wearing the mask all the time and that is a scary part. But you have to accept that this is the new normal.”

Talking about ‘Naxalbari’, Tinaa is playing Rajeev Khandelwal’s girlfriend Ketki on the web show. Tinaa said that her role is very different and she always wanted to be part of web series and was looking for a good project. She said, “I was in talks for another web series with a very bold character but things didn’t work out. But then ‘Naxalbari’ happened with good content and my character was different.”
