Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah viewers have been missing two actors dearly. Without any guesses, the first one is Disha Vakani aka Dayaben, and the second is Nattu Kaka. Yes, Nattu Kaka aka Ghanshyam Nayak is also missing from the recent episodes of TMKOC. The senior actor had made a comeback in March after his neck surgery. However, since then, Nattu Kaka has been home and is eager to be back on the show.

According to the current track of TMKOC, it is shown that Nattu Kaka (played by Ghanshyam Nayak) is in his village. Revealing the same to the Times of India, Ghanshyam Nayak told that it has been more than a month that he has been home. He added that he has no clarity when his track will get started again as the shooting of TMKOC is halted now. Yes! Moreover, the senior actor also shared that the makers of TMKOC have ‘not’ yet decided to shift the base of the show amid the COVID curfew.

“I had shot for an episode in March and after that, I am at home. I am sure the makers will start my track soon and show how Natukaka returns to Mumbai from the village,” Ghanshyam Nayak shared. When asked how he is coping up with the COVID pandemic, Nattu Kaka shared that it is getting very difficult. He revealed that he along with his family are at home, and his family members insist that he should not step out of the house.

 

However, he reiterated that he is ‘dying’ to work and get back on the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. “How long will I live like this in isolation and away from my work?” he asked. Ghanshyam Nayak also added that the current COVID pandemic situation is getting tough senior actors. Though he understands the safety protocols, he said that his body and mind need to get up and get back in action.

Further, he also elaborated on the makers of TMKOC mulling to relocate the shooting to another place due to the COVID curfew in Maharashtra. The actor said that it all depends on the makers, and he is not aware of any relocation as of now. “I am hoping that I will start shooting for Taark at Film City soon,” he concluded.
