Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is a master craftsman and a strategist. The ‘Dangal’ actor likes to give his 100% and doesn’t leave anything to chance. Now, if reports are to be believed, Aamir Khan is planning to produce a seven part ‘Mahabharat’ series, which could be based in a web series format.

As per the reports, Aamir Khan will be flying off to the USA to ideate and write the adaptation along with his core team. It will be a seven-week long journey that he’ll be taking. Since ‘Mahabharat’ will be a web series, it has been decided that it will be divided into seven parts to do justice to the great mythological drama. Indian audiences in recent past have taken a liking to web medium. After the success of ‘Sacred Games’, web genre is growing at a rapid pace.

The report further states that Mr. Perfectionist might play the character of Lord Krishna. The web series could also have different directors being in charge for different seasons.

Aamir Khan is also looking at new actors for this gigantic and monumental series. ‘Mahabharat’ has a lot of significance and on the small screen i.e. Television, it was a big thing 20-30 years back. Aamir’s ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ was also a periodical drama and has received mixed and average reviews. If anyone can pull this magnum opus, it has to Aamir Khan with his undivided attention and attention to detail.
