Touted to be Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan ensures to commit to projects he is a part of. After Thugs of Hindostan in 2018, he made a comeback on big screens with Advait Chandan’s Laal Singh Chaddha. The film was an official Hindi remake of the 1994 Hollywood film Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks in the lead role. It featured Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead alongside Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya. Despite dedicating a considerable amount of time to the film, it tanked at the box office. Disheartened by the debacle, Aamir went on an acting break.

Aamir Khan’s next goes on floors

He was reportedly supposed to do several projects, but there has not been an official update on it yet. If recent reports are to be believed, his upcoming untitled venture, Prod No 16, is all set to go on floors in January 2024. The film which is in the pre-production stage, has already been locked for Christmas 2024 release.

Aamir on his comeback

The actor made a cameo appearance in Kajol starrer Salaam Venky recently. Talking about his plans for the comeback, he said during an event, “For years I’ve been working continuously, so I decided to spend some time with my family. Also, there is work on Paani Foundation. There is other stuff as well. As far as acting is concerned, I’ll return after a year,” said Aamir.

Meanwhile, on the work front, reports were rife that he would be joining hands with Rajkumar Hirani. He was even supposed to do a film with Salman Khan details about which is still under wraps. Apart from this, it is also believed that the actor is a part of YRF’s spy universe.
