’83’: Deepika Padukone calls herself a supportive wife to Ranveer Singh on and off the cricket field

Kabir Khan’s film ’83’, has been creating a lot of noise ever since it was announced. Just recently, Ranveer Singh had welcomed Deepika Padukone on-board for the cricket drama.

Ranveer Singh was shooting in London alongside his crew of ’83’. Deepika recently joined the team and apparently, the actress has already kick-started shooting for the film. The beautiful actress, who seems to be excited for hubby Ranveer’s upcoming film, took to her Instagram handle and shared a BTS video as her status. DP wrote, “Supportive wife on and off the field.” Check out the video below.

Ranveer Singh will be seen as the cricket legend Kapil Dev in the film. Deepika will portray his on-screen wife Romi Dev. The plot of the film is set against the backdrop of India’s victory at the 1983 World Cup. The film also stars Saqib Salim, Harrdy Sandhu, Pankaj Tripathi and several others in  key roles. The cricket drama is set to hit the screens in April 2020.
