After ‘Gully Boy’, Ranveer will be seen in an altogether different avatar. After prepping for months at a stretch, finally ’83’ went on floors today. Earlier talking about the film’s shoot in London, Ranveer (at India Today’s conclave) had said, “We are shooting in the UK. Aapko pata nahi kitna achcha lagta hai ki hum subah uthke Lord’s mein aake practice karte hai, socho hamare liye kya hoga. It’s a real honour and privilege for us to be here. We are proud of the film we are working on. Also, it coincides with the World Cup.”

While Ranveer Singh is playing captain Kapil Dev, actors Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Chirag Patil, Sahil Khattar, Jiiva, Ammy Virk and Harrdy Sandhu will be playing his teammates.

Versatile actor Pankaj Tripathi will also be seen playing a significant role in this Kabir Khan directorial. ’83’ is all set to hit the silver screens on April 10, 2020.
