Ranveer Singh Shifts Pralay Shoot To Mumbai; Wants To Spend More Time With Pregnant Deepika Padukone- Report

Ranveer Singh Wants To Be Close To Pregnant Deepika Padukone Amid Pralay Shoot

As per India Today, Ranveer made the decision to shift the film’s production to stay close to his pregnant wife Deepika Padukone, as they prepare to welcome their second child. The report mentioned that the 41-year-old actor did not want to be away from Deepika during this important phase of her pregnancy, prompting the filmmakers to revise the shooting plan.

The report stated, “Ranveer wants to be around Deepika as they embrace parenthood for the second time. He doesn’t want to be away, and hence the production is making arrangements to shift the schedule here in the city.” The report also highlighted that the decision was not solely personal. The film team faced difficulties in securing permissions to shoot at certain locations in Australia. With both logistical issues and Ranveer’s personal reasons considered, the producers and the actor mutually agreed that shifting the schedule to Mumbai was the most practical solution.

About Pralay

Directed by Jai Mehta, son of filmmaker Hansal Mehta, ‘Pralay’ is a VFX-intensive, post-apocalyptic thriller reportedly made on a budget of around Rs 300 crore. Earlier reports indicated that the film follows a married couple fighting for survival in a dystopian Mumbai, marking Ranveer’s first foray into the zombie-survival genre. The project is currently in pre-production, with the makers keeping the story and scope details under wraps.
