83 The Film Review: Suniel Shetty says ‘I am stunned beyond’ after watching Ranveer Singh starrer

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starring film 83 is scheduled to release on December 24. The movie is directed by Kabir Khan. A special screening of the film was held recently which was attended by several celebrities. Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty watched the movie and shared 83 the film review. Suniel Shetty took to his Twitter handle to share his thoughts and do the 83 the film review. The actor said that he is stunned beyond after watching the Ranveer Singh film. He continued to heap praise on Ranveer for his stellar performance in the film.

Suniel Shetty said that he went to watch Ranveer’s 83 but couldn’t spot him. He said that with Singh’s incredible transformation, he could only see Kapil Dev on the big screen. The actor said he is ‘still shaken’ and ‘teary-eyed’ at the artistry and emotions.

Shetty tweeted, “Went to watch @RanveerOfficial in #83. Couldn’t spot him. There was only #KapilDev on screen. Incredible transformation. I am stunned beyond. A team cast that could’ve walked off Lords. Got gooseflesh like I was reliving ‘83. Still shaken and teary-eyed at the artistry and emotions. (sic)

Further, Suniel lauded Kabir Khan for his work. He said that the faith in Kabir Khan’s story and the power of the scenes and characters, blew his socks off. The actor further wrote, “Sheer belief. That’s what it is. The goodness of being @kabirkhankk. The faith in his story and the power of his scenes and characters. Blew my socks off. And the backing of #SajidNadiadwala @WardaNadiadwala in a project that’s a personal tale. The tears are real. (sic)

Meanwhile, 83 stars Ranveer playing the role of former Indian cricket team captain, Kapil Dev. Deepika essays the character of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev in the movie. The film is based on the victory of the Indian cricket team during the 1983 World Cup.
