Aamir Khan all set to turn an astronaut on the big screen

Aamir Khan is currently busy with the shooting of ‘Dangal’ in which he plays the role of a wrestler. The movie is a biopic on wrestler Mahavir Phogat and releases on Christmas this year. Well, not much is known about Aamir’s next after ‘Dangal’. However, according to Bollywood Life, Mr Perfectionist will be seen in one more biopic. Aamir will be playing astronaut Rakesh Sharma  in a film.

A source told Bollywood Life that though Aamir is currently busy with ‘Dangal’, he has finalised his next movie too. The source said, “Aamir will play Rakesh Sharma in his next film. He is all set to move from playing a pehalwan to now going out to the space.”

For the uninitiated, Rakesh Sharma is the first Indian Air Force pilot to become a cosmonaut. He became the first Indian to be a part of space programme by India’s ISRO and Russia’s Soviet Intercosmos. During a television conference when Sharma was asked how India looked from the space, he said, “Saare Jahan Se Achcha”.
