Aamir Khan gets rescued from Chennai floods after being stranded for hours, see pics

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan along with actor Vishnu Vishal and his family was stranded in the floods resulting from Cyclone Michaung due to heavy rainfall in Chennai. On Tuesday, they had to be rescued by boat and Vishnu Vishal has shared a glimpse of it. He expressed gratitude to TN government and fire department for doing a great job.

Vishnu Vishal shared two pictures where boats were deployed to rescue the passengers. In the pictures, Aamir Khan can also be seen. Vishnu Vishal’s wife, badminton player Jwala Gutta, was also be spotted. Along with pics, he penned caption thanking TN government. He wrote, “Thanks to the fire and rescue department in helping people like us who are stranded. Rescue operations have started in Karapakkam. Saw 3 boats functioning already. Great work by TN govt in such testing times. Thanks to all the administrative people who are working relentlessly.”

Most parts of Chennai including subways, streets, and even the airport were flooded after the heavy downpour on Monday. The situation has wreaked havoc in the city and the Tamil actor has been sharing update about it. Earlier today, he informed netizens about how the situation is worse there. He tweeted, “Water is entering my house and the level is rising badly in Karapakkam I have called for help No electricity no wifi No phone signal Nothing Only on terrace at a particular point i get some signal Lets hope i and so many here get some help I can feel for people all over Chennai #staystrong (sic).”

For those unversed, the Laal Singh Chaddha actor had relocated to Chennai to be close to his ailing mother, Zeenat Hussain. She is currently undergoing medical treatment in the city. In October, Aamir’s mom Zeenat suffered a heart attack.
