Aamir Khan and Reena Datta’s daughter Ira Khan got married to Nupur Shikhare in Udaipur in a dreamy wedding ceremony on 10th January. While several pictures from the festivities are doing rounds, Reena Datta has shared an adorable post with a heartfelt note for her daughter. Reacting to the post, Ira also showered love on her mama.

In the photo, we can see Aamir Khan holding his daughter Ira Khan’s hand while they look at each other. Even Reena Datta is lovingly looking at the father-daughter duo. “I have your back always my baby girl @khan.ira Love you,” the caption reads. Ira was touched by the lovely post, and she commented, “Awwwwwliieee I LOVE YOU MAMA!! I know that’s why I feel safe.” Zayn Marie, Ira’s cousin, wrote, “and we have both of yours love you, Chachijaan.” While Nupur Shikhare and his mother Pritam Shikhare dropped red heart emojis.

For the unversed, the couple signed Nikahnama in Mumbai on 3rd January. The then jetted of to Udaipur from 7th to 10th January for traditional wedding festivities. Their wedding reception is all set to take place today (13th January) in Mumbai at NMACC. Approximately 2,500 guests are expected to attend the reception. Bollywood celebrities including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Rajkumar Hirani, Ashutosh Gowarikar and Juhi Chawla, among many others are expected to grace the occasion. In terms of culinary delights, the Khan family has curated an opulent menu featuring dishes from nine different states. The Gujarati menu dominates the palate, with Lucknowi and Maharashtrian food also on the list.
