Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Aamir emphasised that they want to keep the celebration minimal and private, and though the guest list hasn’t been disclosed, speculation remains about whether Bollywood friends like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan will join. “It will be a very simple registered marriage at home, with just both the families and really close friends. We both want to keep it very basic,” he said.

In an earlier interview with Variety India, Aamir expressed that both he and Gauri feel ready to take their relationship to the next level, viewing marriage as a natural progression. He shared that he already considers himself deeply committed to Gauri and is excited to formalise their bond. “Yes, that is true. But now we both feel we are ready to take our relationship to the next level,” he said.

Who Is Gauri Spratt?

Gauri Spratt, based in Bengaluru, is involved in the wellness and beauty industry. She is the granddaughter of Philip Spratt, a British-born writer and thinker who settled in India in the 1920s. Gauri has a son named Quinn from a previous marriage. The couple gained widespread media attention earlier this year when Aamir publicly introduced Gauri and spoke about their relationship.

About Aamir’s Past Relationships

This wedding will be Aamir Khan’s third marriage. His first was to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. After their separation, Aamir married filmmaker Kiran Rao, but they announced their separation in 2021 after 16 years of marriage. Despite their split, they continue to co-parent their son, Azad and collaborate professionally.
