Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan is one of the promising star kids on the block and his intense look in the first poster of his debut film Maharaj proves it. The film is all set for OTT release next month. Maharaj is directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and bankrolled by Aditya Chopra under the YRF Entertainment banner.

Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan’s debut movie Maharaj first look is out. The film revolves around fight for the truth between a powerful man and a fearless journalist. Sharing first look, the makers wrote, “Based on true events – Maharaj is releasing on 14 June, only on Netflix!”
About Maharaj
The film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharvari Wagh and Shalini Pandey in pivotal roles, is said to be inspired by the 1862 Maharaja Libel Case. It revolves around a religious leader who sued a newspaper for alleging inappropriate relationships with his female followers. Junaid portrays the role of journalist in the movie. He plays Mulji, a journalist and social reformer, was a pioneering advocate for women’s rights and social reform. A student at Elphinstone College in Mumbai and a protégé of the scholar-leader Dadabhai Naoroji, he wrote on widow remarriage, stood up for the oppressed, and sowed the seeds of reform in society.
Junaid Khan’s upcoming movies
Apart from Maharaj, Junaid also has two other films in his kitty. He has wrapped up shooting for his second film with Sai Pallavi. Reportedly titled Ek Din, the upcoming film marks Sai Pallavi’s debut in Bollywood and is shot extensively in Japan. Apart from this, he will also be seen alongside Khushi Kapoor in a rom-com. The two have began filming for it in Mumbai and it is touted to be a remake of the 2022 Tamil hit Love Today.
